Established in 2004, Scottsdale Gun Club (SGC) is a world-class, state of the art public indoor shooting range, training facility, retail store and home of The Ultimate Shooting Experience ™. Scottsdale Gun Club was voted the Official “Best of Arizona Indoor Shooting Range” for 2016. Underlying this distinction is SGC’s Membership Program that offers exclusive “members only” benefits, including priority lane use, special events, priority sales and discounts, and no range fees for Members.

The Challenge

SGC needed a loyalty and rewards system to help them achieve multiple goals. Primarily, they wanted a flexible membership offering that would meet the specific needs of several very different member segments. Their corporate memberships, family memberships, and individual memberships each required different terms and benefits.

SGC also needed to streamline and fully automate the process of charging membership dues. Finally, SGC wanted to facilitate access to active members, track usage of their multiple facilities, automatically apply member benefits, and reward their best members all through a single, comprehensive solution.

Solution

SGC and bLoyal worked together to implement a flexible and secure membership solution by integrating bLoyal’s Executive Edition with Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS) and SGC’s online presence. SGC was able to launch four different membership programs with more than 33 variances to meet their unique customers’ needs. At the same time, bLoyal simplified the process for SGC to capture and store payment information securely and fully automated the process of collecting thousands of Membership dues on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis, thus maximizing SGC’s subscription revenue stream.

With their core membership program challenge resolved, bLoyal and SGC focused on configuring unique membership benefits such as discounted or free access, customer specific offers and promotions, and unique customer experiences delivered in-flow of transactions while members enjoyed the use of their multiple club facilities.
